Digital Photography with Olivia

Service Description

During this five week session, participants will explore the elements of photography that go into creating a captivating image. With the guidance of local photographer Olivia Steinman, students will leave this course with not only new technical camera skills, but also a deeper understanding of light , depth and subject matter. This course will take place both in studio and on location. ( Shooting locations TBD) Basic knowledge of your camera is a plus for this course, but not a prerequisite. Beginners welcome! A Digital SLR camera is required. Who is Olivia Steinman? Olivia Steinman is a photographer based in Sarnia, Ontario. She studied photography at OCADU in Toronto (BFA'11) Her work has been showcased in selected exhibitions in Sarnia and Toronto. Olivia is a portrait photographer capturing people in their natural environment using natural light. Her most recent portrait series Familiar Faces was featured in Macleans magazine April 2025.
